Until recently, Food Grade lubricants and cleaners were either too expensive or did not perform as well as ordinary (petroleum-derived) products. The WISE green chemistry innovation delivers premium performance — Food Grade products that beat petrochemicals in terms of equipment protection, biodegradability, and safety — at a lower purchase price than conventional formulas. In addition, they are derived from renewable base stocks that are not subject to petroleum price volatility, fossil carbon footprint, and supply uncertainties.

WISE Solutions Food Grade products are NSF certified* as safe for use in sensitive environments where lubricants or cleaners may come in direct or incidental contact with products being processed or manufactured. Colloidal cleaners are NSF A1, perfect for food & beverage manufacturers, agricultural producers (from dairy and livestock to fruits and vegetables), water treatment, pipe and tank cleaning, and much more in a variety of industries.

* H1 and related designations mean that base oils and additives in these products are listed in 21 CFR 178.3570, certified for incidental food contact by NSF International. All WISE Food Grade lubricants are H1, safe for incidental food contact, and some are also certified and registered as H2; additionally, one lubricant is certified NSF 3H, which allows for use as a direct food contact lubricant and release agent.
